At Rollingwood, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming atmosphere for pet owners and their beloved companions in Birmingham, AL. Our community offers a range of 1-4 bedroom floor plans, each designed with both human and pet comfort in mind. Not only will we provide you with a warm welcome when you move in—every pet will receive a special move-in gift, too.


We recognize that pets come in all shapes and sizes, so we accommodate not just cats and dogs, but also small pets and caged animals such as hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, and fish. We allow fish tanks and aquariums for aquatic enthusiasts, with the caveat that any over 10 gallons require management approval to ensure compliance with safety standards.


Dogs of all breeds, except for specific restrictions, can enjoy a life of luxury at our on-site dog park, Barkberry Place. This thoughtfully designed area features a grassy surface perfect for running and playing, complete with agility equipment for extra fun and exercise. The park has ample shade, water access, waste stations, and benches, allowing pet owners to relax while their dogs play. It's important to note that certain breeds, including Akitas, Chow Chows, Shar-Peis, Rottweilers, Pit Bulls (American Staffordshire Terriers), Doberman Pinschers, and German Shepherds, are not permitted.


Eight pet waste stations throughout the community further emphasize our commitment to a clean and friendly environment. Your pet can wander our grounds freely on its leash. All we ask is that you clean up after it along the way.


Beyond our gates, pet owners can explore several nearby dog parks, including Vestavia Hills Dog Park, Hoover Dog Park, and the under-construction Wald Park, providing plenty of options for outdoor adventure.
